Sweet Home Farm has been in operation for more than 30 years, and it's owned and operated by Alyce Birchenough and Doug Wolbert.

People from near and far travel to Elberta, Alabama just to sample this farm's delicious cheeses. There's no denying that Sweet Home Farm is one of the area's main attractions.

What differentiates Sweet Home Farm's cheeses from others is that they contain no pesticides, herbicides, growth hormones, artificial colorings or preservatives. The unpasteurized cheeses are high quality and produced from pasture raised Guernsey cows.

Many different types of cheeses are available at Sweet Home Farm, including Gouda, Feta, Montabella, Bama Jack, Tuscany, Bayside Blue, Baldwin Swiss, etc. If you can't make a decision, no worries. The owners will let you sample the cheeses. Fresh organic fruits, local honey and olives are also available.

Cheese and other goodies are available for purchase at Sweet Home Farm on Fridays and Saturdays from 10am-5pm. No credit cards will be accepted. Cash or checks with ID only.

Sweet Home Farm is a definite must stop the next time you're passing through Elberta, Alabama. Be sure to try their famous Pecan Cheese Fudge if it's available. It's AMAZING!
