What small mountain towns in Alabama should I add to my bucket list?

There are lots of adorable small towns in Alabama that are worth visiting, no matter what anyone from outside of here says about us being a “flyover” state. Among our favorite small towns in Alabama include Mentone, which is up at the top of Lookout Mountain and becomes jaw-dropping during fall. Huntsville is home to one of the best state parks in Alabama – Monte Sano State Park – and the views from the peaks are amazing! We also love Oneonta, which is located near three different mountains in Blount County (Sand Mountain, Straight Mountain, and Red Mountain). Be sure to visit Palisades Park, which is nothing short of amazing.
