Kansas loves mouthwatering homemade food filled with love, and if mama made it for you, even better. These dishes are just so “Kansas” that most of us remember how much we love (or hate) their place in our state. What have you had?
This one's probably the most odd out of the list, but you'll just have to understand sometimes things go better together. Take my word for it, I guess.
Though I don't favor this dish, it's my understanding that many a Kansan grew up with this on their tables often enough to be considered a staple.

I mean, what's more Kansas than a fried chicken dinner? I've never seen anyone argue so much over their favorite chicken house than in Kansas, that's for sure!

There's nothing that leaves that warm feeling in your stomach for longer than the soft egg noodles in this dish.
This dish is literally everywhere, and it's hard to find a restaurant that doesn't serve it. Kansas wouldn't be the same if we didn't have this mouthwatering meal around.
