Finding good schools for your children is a very important factor in choosing where to live for most parents. So we looked to a web site called SchoolDigger for a ranking cities in Florida with the best schools. The ranking is determined by their “rank score,” which uses testing data from 2014 to 2015 to determine a percentile for the city’s schools. So, for example, if a school scored a 0.95, they’ve scored better than 95% of the other schools in Florida.
The schools of this community on Santa Rosa Island had a rank score of 0.987. Pictured is Pensacola Beach Elementary School, which had a calculated Average Standard Score of 95.61 in 2014.
Schools in this city in Lee County are ranked better than 98.5% of other schools in Florida. Pictured is the city's school for pre-K through eighth grade, The Sanibel School, which In 2014 had a calculated Average Standard Score of 95.41.

Aventura in Miami-Dade county was ranked at 0.977. Pictured is the Aventura City of Excellence School, whose 2014 calculated Average Standard Score was 94.84.
