When people decide to move to a new town, one of their top criteria includes looking for safe locations. There’s lots of different criteria that can be found that will justify why certain towns and cities were designated as “safest.”

(Completed 2014 data has not been released just yet.) We calculated the crime per resident ratio to come up with a slightly more accurate rate instead of just listing the lowest number of reported crimes.
