You can do the more obvious things like visiting the Oklahoma City National Memorial, and afterward you can check out the Historic Route 66 highway that crosses through the state. The Philbrook Museum of Art is world-famous, and you ought to visit and see why. And, if you want an experience that’s purely Oklahoma, you’ll want to go admire the incredible tallgrass prairies and the herds of bison that graze there.

Oklahoma’s got a lot of super fun things to do! You could tour the mysterious underground tunnels beneath Oklahoma City (seriously). You could make a whole day out of visiting the art and history museums scattered throughout the state, or you could cruise Route 66. You could also visit any of Oklahoma’s 35 official state parks and/or six National Parks sites. Oklahoma is also wonderful for the outdoorsy types, with hundreds of miles of trails weaving through the state and dozens of breathtaking waterfalls to go find.
