From the outside, Jack’s by the Tracks appears to be a shotgun house because that was what the building originally started off as. In 1924, the house was transformed into a jewelry store. In the years that followed, the building served as a florist, hardware store, furniture store, and paint store before it became Jack’s by the Tracks in 2011.

Even though a large main dining room has been added to the back, the building has retained much of its original architectural style. Step inside the old shotgun house and you’ll find a bar down the left side, a few tables on the right, and a stage in the front for live music.
