Boardwalks are essentially paths made of wooden planks, but not necessarily at a beach. Every boardwalk is unique! Some of these are beachfront, but some of these wrap through wetlands and cut across ponds. If I were you, I’d spend a day on each one and really get familiar with the paths. It would make for a great way to spend your Saturday mornings!
