The restaurant is housed in a beautifully restored building that has been designated as a historic landmark, preserving its history and character for future generations to enjoy. The interior of the restaurant features exposed brick walls, cozy fireplaces, and warm lighting, making it a perfect place to relax and enjoy a meal.
All of the restaurant’s furnishings are very old, and many are antiques. Some are even over 150 years old!

The Pump House’s service is "Alaskan Style." They offer the freshest products possible, frequently growing herbs grown on-site or "Local Grown" under the Alaska state-wide sustainability program. They use Alaskan salmon only, and their beef is Certified Angus and aged to ensure the best flavor.
The Pump House is open six days a week, closed only on Mondays, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.

Visit Tuesdays through Thursdays for dinner from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., or at the bar from 4:00 p.m. through 10:30 p.m. On Fridays and Saturdays they serve dinner until 10:00 p.m., and Sundays they are open for brunch from 10:00 a.m. through 2:00 p.m.
