When it comes to winter fun, there is one place that simply does it best. Ober Mountain in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, is the state’s only ski resort, and it’s filled with snowy fun. They offer a plethora of winter activities, so you can make the most of those colder months. In the south, you may not immediately think there are places that are filled with winter activities, but just one visit to Ober will cure you from ever wanting to retreat to the north for some snow-filled fun.

The Ski Mountain Coaster is another unique and thrilling way to spend a winter day.
Hop on the comfortable cart that fits up to two people and enjoy the ride up the mountain. This leisurely ride will gently tug you up the coaster and give way to some amazing scenery. Once you drop down, you will be in full control to take an easy ride down or zoom by at up to 25 mph. The dips, turns, and corkscrews make for one exhilarating ride.
