2. Ellerbe Springs Inn

- Feel the need for speed at Rockingham Dragway, Rockingham, NC: The Rock has been a main attraction for Richmond County residents since 1970. It is a quarter-mile drag strip where you can see a whole lot of muscle racing down the track at blistering speeds. - Catch a train at Hamlet Station, Hamlet, NC: This train station and museum is a wonderful part of North Carolina history.
