Spend The Day Exploring These Three Bridges In Oklahoma

If you enjoy hiking and discovering bridges, we have just the day trip for you. We found three bridges that are worth exploring and all of them offer something unique. The hikes are rated as easy so the whole family can explore these fun bridges together and the beautiful scenery that surrounds them.
This bridge day trip is 150 miles long and takes you from Bartlesville down south to Braggs. Follow along below or click this interactive map for directions.
Driving time will take about 2.5 hours so it leaves plenty of time to explore these three bridges in one day.
Start your journey in Bartlesville at Pathfinder Parkway, a 12-mile paved path in Bartlesville that meanders through parks, schools, wooded areas, commercial districts, and over the Caney Pedestrian Bridge.
The bridge is located halfway between the trail access at Silver Lake Road and the Shawnee trailhead (just southeast of Bartlesville High School).

You can explore as little or as much of this trail as you want. The path is a wooded trail about eight feet wide and it is paved, so it's an easy hike for most skill levels.
The next stop on your trip is going to be the Cleveland MKT Trail, a 4.9-mile lightly trafficked out and back trail that will take you to an old rail bridge near Lake Keystone and Osage Hills.
The trail can be accessed by two different trailheads, both from Hwy 64. The trail is paved except for the wood bridge, so it's another easy hike with beautiful views.
The last bridge on this trip is located inside Greenleaf State Park and is a swinging bridge. The bridge hangs over a beautiful lake and the park is home to a flourishing forest.
To get to the bridge you'll take Ankle Express Trail, a 12-mile trail...but don't worry you don't have to hike all 12 miles to see the bridge. It's a few miles into the trail...just follow the blue markers and you'll make your way there.
After you hike in Bartlesville, head over to Murphy’s Original Steak House, home to some of the best brown gravy in the state. They are open for lunch and dinner and you’ll everything about this place.
