Some of us were born in New Hampshire, which truly makes it the homiest place on earth. Others have visited for years and now call it home after deciding that no other place would work. Whether you’ve never stepped foot across the state line or if you’ve left and come back over and over again, there’s something beautiful about the state that can’t be replicated. There are a lot of things to love about New Hampshire. The things on this list are just a few examples, but each one will always remind us of home.
Any scenic drive is nice, but when people recommend them in other states we're not quite as impressed as we are in New Hampshire. The Kanc has spoiled us and we're okay with that.
We all know that road construction lasts throughout the year here in New Hampshire. It's easy to get frustrated. But when we face traffic due to construction in other states, all we want is our own New Hampshire construction. At least there's a good chance the views will be good while we wait!

3. Hearing someone say the word "drawer" incorrectly.
And by "incorrectly" we mean pronouncing it the way most of the country probably believes is the right way. In New Hampshire, the correct description of this photo would sound something like, "look at that cat in the draw!"
Growing up in New Hampshire, we've come to place a special importance on breakfast. That's because it often includes maple syrup. But we take our syrup seriously and if it's not from New Hampshire there's a good chance it's just not quite as good.
Each and every state votes in the Presidential election, but there's just something special about doing it from New Hampshire. This state is one of the most important during this time of year. Being the first state to vote in the primaries means the results can impact a candidate's trajectory. We always feel some seriously strong state-pride around election time.
Cold and snow are a big part of life here in New Hampshire and no matter where we are, winter makes us think of home. If it's warm, we wish we had the fun of snow. If it's cold, we always wish we could enjoy a New Hampshire chill. They're just not the same anywhere else.
Unless you're from here, you might not realize that the reason Adam Sandler wears a UNH t-shirt in so many of his films is his hometown pride. As a native of the state, he's got a ton of love for New Hampshire and we have a ton of love for him.
