There are some things in life that simply take us back to another time. Maybe it’s a visit to your favorite childhood mall, or that bowling alley you used to go to with your dad on Wednesdays. Indiana was once home to no less than 18 drive-in theatres, though today that number is quite a bit lower. Enter The Tibbs: a beloved, old-school drive-in theatre in Indiana that is equal parts modern and nostalgic bliss. Pull up and grab some snacks, because you’re in for a great night!

While other theatres shut down one by one as times changed, The Tibbs continued to stay strong, and today it's a staple of Indy's past and present.
Now, there are four screens, and enough room for an impressive 1,600 car capacity.

One can only imagine all the movies these screens have seen; there have been literally hundreds and hundreds of movies released between 1967 and now! If these screens or parking spaces could speak, what tales would they tell? And what would their favorite movies be?
You'll want to arrive about an hour prior to your screening of choice; and, in the meantime, you'll certainly want to visit the snack bar.

It's little more than a snack bar, really; it serves entrees like burgers, hot dogs, chicken and/or tenderloin sandwiches, corn dogs, and more. Does that pizza not look to die for? Hot and fresh!
