We all know that the Empire State is a beautiful place. Anyone who’s taken the gorgeous trip down State Route 97 knows that it’s one of the most scenic drives in New York. It can be a little scary with all those twists and curves, but the views are totally worth any motion sickness! The Upper Delaware Scenic Byway will take you 70 miles through Delaware, Sullivan, and Orange Counties. No matter what time of year, the view is incredible. If you find yourself on that winding road and wishing for a spot to pull over and admire the Delaware River, check out the Hawk’s Nest lookout area!
