Located in Shenandoah National Park, this 6.5-mile trail is an all-day adventure that promises to impress with its otherworldly rock formations and jaw-dropping views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Who's up for a beautiful adventure? It all begins at Milepost 84.4 on Skyline Drive, where you'll find the parking area and trailhead.

You'll head south on the Trayfoot Mountain Trail for about 1 mile until you reach the spur trail. At that point, you'll continue onward as the train gently rises and descents.
