There’s a lot of restaurants spread around our beautiful state, and it’s a little tough to keep track of them all sometimes. Thankfully, we have plenty of reminders every time we travel about all the places we may miss along the way. This little spot in Salina has a party potato that’ll make your taste buds boogie. Welcome to Salina's very own Hickory Hut BBQ, a restaurant that started out as a traveling shop selling in grocery store parking lots and grew to become the brick-and-mortar store you see today.

Known in Salina since 1983, Hickory Hut worked hard to stick around, and became a favorite of many Kansans. In 2005, they opened their current location to offer both drive-through and dine-in options to their ever growing market.
