While we can all admit that January can be a bit gloomy and gray, that doesn’t mean there’s nothing to look forward to — especially in Rhode Island. From January 12 – 25, we’ll welcome another Providence Restaurant Week, which means new opportunities to try some of your favorite restaurant cuisine at a discounted rate. This year, almost 100 restaurants are participating, so break out your stretchy pants and plan your course (or rather, three courses) of action.

And it's definitely something Rhode Islanders look forward to each year.
So how does it work? It's simple -- choose one of the nearly 100 participating restaurants, order from a special menu, save money, and enjoy amazing food.

You can enjoy three-course lunches for $16.95 and three-course dinners for $29.95, $34.95 or $49.95, as well as two-for-one specials. Not all of the participating eateries are offering lunch, so you'll want to check the website before you plan.
Typically you'll only have a few options to choose from for each course, but they're always some of the restaurant's best choices.

The idea is for the restaurants to promote themselves so much, you'll want to return. This tasty pork belly can be found at Ten Rocks in Pawtucket.
