Best known for his famous Blue Dog series, Rodrigue’s artwork captured the essence of Louisiana life through bold colors and vibrant imagery.
Rodrigue passed away in 2013, so Blue Dog Cafe and it is now operated by Rodrigue’s sons, Andre and Jacque, and a long-time friend, Steve Santillo. His artwork, however, lives on to inspire others.
