Why drive down to the bottom of the state? You will definitely want to see this giant cave, which has an opening of 55 feet. You'll definitely want to stay the night in a cabin, which is perched 80 feet over the Ohio River.
Big things come in small packages. The town of Casey--population 2700--knows all about this. They have broken numerous Guinness World Records by creating the largest pen, knitting needle, etc. These gigantic creations are all around town and you should make a trip to take pictures of them all.

Odell once used to be a hopping spot off of Route 66. The population today is just around 1,000. Definitely check out the old Mobil station. You'll want to stop by the Standard Oil station, which has been restored to its old beauty. You'll also enjoy some of the hometown restaurants. It's quaint and you'll have a nice time thinking back on how things once were.
