There’s not much to the tiny town of Tenino, located in Thurston County near Olympia. But it just so happens to be home to a nationally recognized sanctuary for captive born and displaced wolves. And yes, you can visit.
It sits nestled in between Seattle and Portland in the South Puget Sound area.
Their mission is simply to conserve and protect wolves and their habitat.

Adopting a wolf costs $125 and includes an adoption certificate, a wolf bio, and plenty of updates. Classroom sponsorships are just $40. You can also make a donation or buy a membership, which starts at just $35.

It's also accredited by the American Sanctuary Association and a member of two Species Survival Plan programs.
They're also free, although you're encouraged to donate to this great cause.
