That being said, these 10 Colorado towns and cities, who have been given distinct titles by popular news and entertainment sites, may wake up Christmas morning to find lumps of coal in their stockings:
Seeing as though Denver has a large population, it should come as no surprise that the Mile High City tops the list. The main reason for recognition? For several years in a row, Denver has been named the "Highest City in America" by multiple outlets. Speaking of highest cities in America...
...Motovo recently named Colorado Springs the second highest city in America with one dispensary for every 14,213 residents (which actually surprised me)! Another surprise? Last year, Business Insider ranked the Springs at #16 on their "25 Most Hungover Cities In America" list.

According to the FBI's Crime in the United States report (2012), the Southern Colorado town had 199 robberies, 1,895 burglaries, and a whopping 7,030 property crimes within one year.

I love Boulder... the scenery, restaurants, and shopping make it the absolute perfect town (in my opinion). Come to find out, I'm not the only one who loves Boulder; in fact, Boulder is a nightlife mecca with 26 dispensaries and more than 25 breweries.
What makes this beautiful mountain town so naughty? Earlier this year, Road Snack's named Aspen the #1 "Drunkest City in Colorado" with an 18% divorce rate and the second highest bars and liquor stores per capita ranking.

Am I shocked that this charming tourist destination has its fair share of bars and dispensaries? No! The town of 16,936 was named the fifth "Drunkest City in Colorado" with the seventh "highest bars per capita" in the state. As for the dispensaries? Weedmaps shows 14 in Durango alone.
To conclude this list, here is a crazy statistic: In 2013 alone, a Walmart in Stapleton called police officers more than 841 times to report theft, making it the nation's top shoplifting destination. (Source.)
