Previously, we highlighted a shrine in Emmitsburg, and today, we think there’s another one in the state that deserves your attention. Whether you attend for an event or simply explore the grounds, this place is sure to inspire.

The Shrine of St. Anthony is located on on a whopping 310 acres, hidden in Ellicott City.

According to the website, the shrine offers a unique opportunity to "come away and rest awhile."

Whether you're local or make a pilgrimage here, this place is sure to inspire. When you find a particularly breathtaking spot, feel free to rest, pray, or meditate.

While this place is open year-round, it's particularly beautiful during spring and summer. Plants flourish among the paths, surrounding you in a fairy tale setting.
