We’ve mentioned small towns in Arkansas with remarkable things to do, but it’s time some of our little towns got recognized for just how small they are. Based on Census data, these towns in Arkansas are the smallest. Blink or turn your head and you might past right by them!
The little town of Williford in Sharp County has only 75 residents listed as of the 2015 census. This is up from the 63 citizens that were counted in 2000, so relatively speaking the town has grown some over the past 15 years.
Situated along the Black River in Lawrence County, Powhatan only had 50 residents counted in the 2000 census, but now the population has swelled to a whopping 72. That's not to say there's nothing to do in Powhatan, though. The 1888 Powhatan courthouse still remains a popular site to visit, and some say it's haunted.

Corinth is located in Yell County outside of Russellville and near Danville, where students are counted as a part of the Danville School District. In the 2000 census the population was listed as 65. The most recent head count yields 70 residents.

It's an interesting case when you look at the numbers in Nimmons, located in northeast Arkansas near the St. Francis River. The population in the 2000 census for the Clay County town was at 100, but as of 2010 the number dropped to 69 residents.
The southwest Arkansas town of McNab in Hempstead County (near Hope) has experienced quite a jump from the census taken in 2000 when the population was only 37. McNab is now up to 68 residents as of 2015--and it's all due to that (very) small town charm.
Morrison Bluff, located in Logan County, has seen slight population decline in an already small town in the past few years. The 2000 census had the town listed at 74 but current statisticts state Morrison Bluff has a total of 62 residents.
The town of Patmos in Hempstead County was named after the Greek Island of Patmos, where the Book of Revelation was written. Patmos had a population of 61 when the 2000 census was taken. As of recent statistics, the town now stands at 64 residents.
Located in Hempstead County near Hope, tiny Oakhaven hasn't seen much change since the 2010 census was taken. The population remains at 63 residents, proving Oakhaven is a pretty steady town when it comes to who your neighbors are.

The population of Fourche, located in Perry County, has seen a slight jump from 59 residents in 2000 to a current population of 62. This is likely due to Perry County being slowly included into the Little Rock/North Little Rock/Conway metropolitan area. Some can still find a nice secluded small town to call home.
Even though it's located in the growing Fayetteville–Springdale–Rogers area, the little town of Hindsville has seen a decrease in population. The 2000 census listed the Madison County town as having 75 residents when the current population is 61.

Located in Crawford County, the small town of Rudy hasn't lost one bit of its charm despite a decrease in population. The residential count was 72 at the 2000 census, yet now 61 people call Rudy home.
Waldenburg in Pointsett County is home to Zionburg Lutheran Church, founded in 1881. Located not far from Jonesboro, the population has decreased from 80 residents reported in the 2000 census to a current population of 61.
The town of Tinsman in Calhoun County (not far from Camden) has stayed fairly consistent over the past 5 years. The 2010 census had the population listed at 54, and the small town hasn't changed one bit since.

Located in Mississippi County, the little town of Birdsong recorded only 1 new resident between the years of 2000 and 2010. The new kid in town bumped the population up from 40 to a grand total of 41...hey, it means one more good ol' Arkansas resident, anyway!
The tiny town of Jerome, located in Drew County, is known for being home to the Jerome War Relocation Center, an internment camp for Japanese Americans during World War II as well as German prisoners of war. For such big undertakings, the population of the town has remained small; its most recent census data shows a population of 39 residents.
The town of Wiederkehr Village in Franklin County is well known for marvelous Arkansas wine. The village is also known for being one of the smallest populated in the state - the population of 46 taken during the 2000 census has declined slightly to 38 current residents.
Victoria is located in Mississippi County on State Highway 158 east of State Highway 181. Named after the sister of Robert E. Lee Wilson, the town's founder, Victoria has gone from a population of 59 in the 2000 census down to a current number of 37 residents.
Blue Eye, Arkansas in Carroll County is just adjacent to Blue Eye, Missouri. The small population has stayed the same over the past few years, as 30 residents has been the official census count since 2010. Blue Eye has also been stated as the home of novelist Stephen Hunter's fictional character Bob Lee Swagger.

Located in Searcy County, Gilbert has a reputation around the Natural State as being one of the coldest spots in the city when it comes to temperature. Gilbert's also known for being one of the smallest towns in the state - the population has remained at 28 residents since 2010, making it one of the smallest towns in the country.
Magnet Cove in Hot Spring County is located southeast of the city of Hot Springs, down in the Ouachita National Forest. The actual population of Magnet Cove is only 5 people, but incorporated boundaries in the area make it a nice little community of people and not so isolated.
These are the smallest of the small, but believe it or not there are several other towns across Arkansas that are only slightly larger than these!
