Sometimes, being close to the big city means your town is often outshined by the big city lights. This seems to have been the case for many years in North Kansas City. Just minutes from downtown Kansas City, North Kansas City has recently undergone a revitalizing transformation and is now a diverse and quirky city suburb. Come check out the locally owned restaurants, breweries, and shops for a fantastic day north of the river.
North Kansas City is one of the quirkiest towns in all of Missouri. This suburb of Kansas City blends in so well with the city that many people don't realize North Kansas City is its own city.
You'll love the historic Armour Road full of businesses and restaurants. Screenland Theater is a great example of the recent revitalization efforts that have taken over the area. This old movie theater is back in action and serving cocktails and craft beer in their lobby that doubles as a local hangout.
Snake Saturday is the annual St. Patrick's celebration and parade that is held in North Kansas City. This unique party happens the Saturday before St. Patrick's Day every year and is the largest family fun Irish celebration in the state.
North Kansas City is a very diverse neighborhood but the community is tight knit. Residents in this community truly go out of their way to help one another and improve their neighborhood.
Residents love taking their dogs to the local dog park. It's just another great place where two and four legged residents can unwind in North Kansas City.
