Other than its highly expensive cost of housing, quite a few folks find SoCal to be a wonderful place to live. Locals have easy access to the desert in Palm Springs and the mountains of Big Bear, and there’s always something going on in Los Angeles. If folks can afford it, places like Santa Barbara and San Diego offer a beautiful local landscape and small-town vibe in the midst of a big city.

Hollywood events and experiences are a huge draw, and yes, you can find a real good avocado right in the heart of California’s SoCal. It’s a real perk!
