Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill, outside of Harrodsburg, is an underrated asset to Kentucky’s rich history and a hidden gem that is begging to be discovered. Even if you’ve heard of this historic community, perhaps you’ve never visited. Or maybe you have, but it’s been awhile. Either way, one stop during your visit should be to dine at The Trustees’ Table. Though it has seen some recent changes, this traditional restaurant is still a worthy place to visit for a fresh meal, beautiful surroundings and a bit of history.
