In most places, graffiti is frowned upon. However, there are a select few attractions throughout the country where it’s legal and encouraged. The following hidden spot in Baltimore is one of those places. If you’ve never been to Graffiti Alley, you’re in for a colorful treat.
You'll find this eye-catching alley between North Avenue and Howard Street.
This is the only legal graffiti space in Baltimore, where local artists can come and express their creativity without fear of prosecution.
Spend some time observing all the little details, from giant creations of local icons, to folks simply coming here to tag their initials. The works of art are ever-changing.
While in the alley, you'll often spot photographers capturing colorful shots of their models. Some people even travel long distances just for a one-of-a-kind photo op.
Graffiti Alley is just a really cool spot with a positive vibe. Come and soak in the creativity at least once.
