Out on the western edges of what might be considered suburban Milwaukee is a small Lake Country town that you really need to check out. Delafield is a charming and beautiful little spot right on Nagawicka Lake. It looks a bit like you’ve stepped out of a Dickens story or Rockwell painting. The quaint downtown seems to always have folks strolling about, checking out the one-of-a-kind shops and nibbling on treats from the cafes and restaurants in the area.

You can’t miss the steeple that peeks out above the rooftops as you’re driving down Hwy 83. What was once a Presbyterian church built 150 years ago has housed a great many Delafield businesses. Now, it’s the delectable Belfrē Kitchen and you have to plan a visit.
