This Huge 1,000 Foot Waterslide Is Coming To West Virginia This Summer… And It’s Awesome

On Saturday, August 29th, Slide the City is coming to Morgantown, West Virginia! This waterslide is a one of a kind slip-and-slide at 1000 feet in length. That is over 3 football fields long!

There are three ticket options: 1 slide, 3 slides, or unlimited slides. The best deal is definitely the unlimited slides, but if you order early, you could get the 1 slide for as low as $10! For unlimited sliders, the event is going to take place from 11 am to 6 pm, with the rest of the sliders being able to attend from 12 pm to 5 pm.

Just check out this video of it in action:

For the safety and speed of all sliding, sliders must have an inflatable to ride on. But who is really complaining about that? You will get some serious speed with that!
Unlike regular slip-and-slides, this waterslide supposedly has “more cushion than your grandpa’s orthopedic sneakers.” This slide is specifically designed to recirculate water throughout the day, which significantly cuts down on water usage. Approximately 12,000-20,000 gallons of water is typically used in a day, and at the end of the day, the water that was used will be treated and then recycled back into the community.

Are you going to check it out?
