The Tragic Story Behind This Beloved West Virginia Park Will Never Be Forgotten

In the little river town of Newell, West Virginia in the Northern Panhandle, there’s a little park with a lot of history. This park was once abandoned and forgotten, but in recent years, it’s been coming to life again.

Laurel Hollow Park is located between Washington and Jefferson streets, across the street from the Homer Laughlin China Company.

For a West Virginia park with a zoo that is currently open to visitors, take a look at Oglebay Park.
