It all started in 1978. The owner of a historic Victorian house in Kenova, West Virginia decided to decorate for Halloween with 5 pumpkins. Over the years, the number of pumpkins grew, until soon there were over 3000 pumpkins each year! The house became a tourist attraction, and soon the whole town got into the spirit of Halloween.
