Had to explain you're not from Washington D.C. Flickr / dietpoison Or Seattle...unless you really are from the city. 4. Corrected someone for mispronouncing Sequim, Puyallup, etc. Bing Images / About It's "Skwim" and "Pyoo-AL-up"! 5. Had one amazing cup of coffee Flickr / davidrobertwright Whether you're into drip or espresso, you've more than likely enjoyed a warm caffeinated cup of goodness around here. 6. Scored some great items at a thrift store or yard/garage sale Flickr / lavid We're all about bargains! With only $10 you can bring home a load of new treasures. 7. Eaten one of our local apples, Walla Walla sweet onions, cherries, or berries! Flickr / sea-turtle Our fresh fruits & veggies are unbelievably delicious! 8. Visited the public library and checked out books Flickr / brewbooks Seattle alone has the largest percentage of library card holders in all of the nation (80%) and spends double the national average on books every year! 9. Went to a show or concert that you'll never forget Flickr / jsloss We have so many awesome venues in Washington. Between the Knitting Factory, Gorge, White River Amphitheater, Neptune, Paramount Theater and more, you can enjoy live music nearly anywhere! 10. Worn shorts when it was 50 degrees out Flickr / joebehr And of course, hiking shoes! 11. Recycled or composted Flickr / brewbooks Taking care of our Northwest environment is so worth it! 12.
