Go on a hike. Flickr / nickay311 There are trails & peaks around our Evergreen state that are perfect for people of all skill levels and the fresh air will invigorate you with every step! 2. Relax in the sun at the beach. Flickr / nothing Washington is fortunate to boast such gorgeous coastal beaches! If you're able to drive out to one, the beauty is always so worth it! 3. Enjoy a picnic at your nearest park, then go for some ice cream, gelato, or froyo. Flickr / presta Fresh air + fresh food = One perfect combination. 4. Take home and read a random book from the library. Flickr / jeffwilcox You never know what kind of story you might discover. Your whole perspective on things could be inspired in a totally new direction! 5. Add a new favorite song to your iPod. Bonus points if the artist is from around here, since Washington is home to so many talented musicians! 6. Try a new restaurant. There are numerous venues on both sides of the state that host lots of exciting festivities! 8. Go for a swim at one of our breathtaking lakes. Cook/bake something new. Flickr / waospi Okay, we aren't all Guy Fieri - but if you Google for recipes online, you'll be amazed by the simple deliciousness that you can create with your own two hands! Washington offers a ton of fresh ingredients at the market grown right here in our backyard! 10. Take a new photo every day! Flickr / amanky Nothing captures a moment quite like a photograph and Washington is beyond photogenic! Set up an account online somewhere and post a new one every day.
