A Drive Down Washington’s Loneliest Highway Will Take You Miles And Miles Away From It All

Washington is home to over seven million people (and counting), but that doesn’t mean you can’t find some secluded spots. In fact, there are still some remote places in our state where you may not see another person. The next time you need to go for a nice, relaxing drive in the country, check out the Sherman Pass Scenic Byway on State Route 20.

Sherman Pass is definitely one of our most beautiful and secluded byways, but it’s far from our only scenic drive. Make it a goal to see as many Washington scenic byways as you can – they’re worth it.
