8 Brand New Places In Washington That You’ll Definitely Want To Check Out
Sometimes the best way to find a new gem around town is by word of mouth! So, here are 8 awesome new places in Washington that have opened recently or ones that will open soon that you’ve got to check out:
1. 1709 Records, Vancouver

2. Hot Cakes in Capitol Hill, Seattle
in Ballard became a local favorite among Seattleites, another location on Capitol Hill opened over the summer. They make delicious molten chocolate cakes, cookies, milkshakes and more!
3. Wobbly Hopps Brewery, Bremerton
Located next to the Roxy Theater on Fourth Street, this
just celebrated their grand opening at the beginning of September and they offer a fine selection of handcrafted beers like the Hoppalong Banana, Hoppsy Turvy, Ohhh Cherry Ale and Hopping Mad IPA.
4. The Blackbird, Spokane
opened about a month ago in Eastern Washington and makes tempting menu options like Bacon Fat Popcorn, Chorizo Corn Dogs, Brisket Sandwich, salads and more.
5. The Racket, Bellingham
Bellingham's venue, The Shakedown, expanded next door in July and opened this new
bar and pinball lounge
geared towards those 21+ and over. They offer a full menu with delicious foods like cheesesteaks and falafel pitas. The dining area and bar are located downstairs, and there are 14 pinball game machines with rotating vintage games that you can play upstairs!
6. The Lanai Cafe, Olympia
just celebrated their Grand Opening, so be sure to stop by as soon as possible and try out some of their authentic island fare! They make everything from Huli Huli Chicken to Hawaiian Meatballs, and also breakfast options like Banana Pancakes, topped with whipped cream and powdered sugar.
7. The Local, Enumclaw

8. Feed Co. Burgers, Redmond
just opened over the summer in the downtown area and makes all kinds of appetizing burgers including their classic quarter-pound beef, lamb and bison, and even a veggie option. They also serve hot dogs, shakes, fries, and cold beer!
