The 1970s was an exciting time for the brand new Kings Dominion. Some of its earliest attractions included the Lion Country Safari Monorail, the Log Flume, Steam Train, and the Rebel Yell Roller Coaster. By the beginning of the following decade, Kings Dominion was on the map for one of the finest family destinations in the area.
