One of the best places in Vermont that holds a rich and varied history is none other than Sweetwaters on Church Street in Burlington. The building was constructed in 1880s and was home to the Burlington Trust Company. In the 1950s it was occupied by one of Burlington’s most respected men’s clothiers, Miles & Reilly. It then housed the famous Kennedy Brothers’ Woodenware Company. In 1981, the building was restored and renovated by a local restaurateur and became the Sweetwaters we all know and love.
