1. The Bayou, Salt Lake City

3. Bumblebee’s BBQ & Grill, Salt Lake City
Bumblebee’s offers tasty Korean-fusion dishes, including their famous K-POP fries. They’re topped with Bul-gogi, Korean spicy pork or chicken, cheese, onion, jalapeno mayo and Sriracha.
4. Burger Bar, Roy
The regular fries are delicious, but ask for the hand-cut version...they’re amazing! 5291 S. 1900 W., Roy.
5. Hi Mountain Drug, Kamas
Just the right combination of crispy, greasy and salty. They’re hand-cut and delicious. The shakes are amazing, too. 40 N. Main Street, Kamas.
6. Lucky 13 Bar and Grill, Salt Lake City
When you serve up some of the most delicious burgers in the state, you have to bring your “A” game to the fries. The garlic-rosemary fries do the trick. 135 W. 1300 S., Salt Lake City.
7. Rye Diner and Drinks, Salt Lake City
Rye offers three types of specialty fries: garlic herb, truffle herb and spicy togarashi. For a truly unique French fry experience, go for the togarashi. 239 S. 500 E., Salt Lake City.
8. Scrud’s Gourmet Grub, Ogden
Hand-cut and crispy. 252 25th Street, Ogden.
9. Spin Cafe, Heber
Hand-cut curly fries are hard to find. Spin Cafe cuts theirs fresh every day with a special machine, then douses them with sea salt, paprika, cayenne and more. 220 N. Main Street, Heber.
10. Spitz, Salt Lake City and Sugarhouse
Try the “street cart fries.” They’re piled with garlic, feta, tomatoes, olives and aioli. I doubt these are on the Mediterranean diet, but they’re worth every calorie.
