Where do people stay for Bryce Canyon National Park?

This park is somewhat off the eaten path, but that's what's so great about it. Fortunately, there are several accommodation options nearby and in the park. There are two campgrounds inside the park. North Campground is open year-round; it offers camping by reservation during the busy season and is first-come, first-served the rest of the year. Sunset Campground is only open during the busy season and is always first-come, first-served.

If you'd rather stay in a hotel, there are several hotels by the entrance. Due to the popularity of this park, it's wise to make reservations in advance.

Is there cellular service in the park?

Don't count on it. You may have a signal in some places but not others, or you may not have service at all. You can use the public WiFi in the visitor center as needed.

What else is there to do near Bryce Canyon National Park?

If you're looking for things to do outside in Utah, this area is a great place to visit in all seasons. Scenic Byway 12 is almost as beautiful as the park itself if you enjoy driving. You can take an ATV tour with one of the area's many ATV tour companies. There are also a number of historic buildings to visit and photograph such as the Ebenezer Bryce Cabin in Tropic and the historic schoolhouse in Henrieville.
