Who doesn’t love FREE? I do, so I’m going to bring you at least one list of free things to do in Utah each month. The month of August is jam-packed with summer concerts, festivals and county fairs. Before attending an event listed here, double-check the details — they can change between our publish date and the event.

Granary Row Street Fest: 350 W. 700 S. Salt Lake City: Live music, food trucks and art. Every Friday and Saturday through August from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m..

Pride Festival, Historic 25th Street in Ogden: August 1st from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Bountiful/Davis SummerFest in Bountiful: Thursday, August 5th through Saturday, August 8th.

Stansbury Days, Stansbury Park: August 14th and 15th.

Sandy Hot Air Balloon Festival, Sandy: August 7th and 8th. Sunrise balloon launches start at 7:00 a.m. both days at Storm Mountain Park; evening festivities and launches begin at 8:00 p.m. in front of Sandy City Hall.

Price International Days, Price: Festival runs from July 30 through August 1st.

Oktoberfest at Snowbird: August 15th, 22nd, and 29th from noon to 6:30 p.m.

Heritage Month Kick Off with Mayor Becker at the Sorenson Center in SLC: August 1st from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Mo’olelo Hawaii Storytelling Event at Utah Lake State Park: August 1st from noon to 5:00 p.m.

MZL Annual Carnival at Veterans Park in West Jordan: August 1st 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Family Island Festival at Jordan Park: August 6th, 7th and 8th

“When the Man Went South” Free Screening at The Tower, SLC: August 10th from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

“In Football We Trust” Free Screening at UVU, Orem: August 17th from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Retro Community Dance and Potluck at Valley Fair Mall, WVC: August 21st from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Cool Air Concert Series at Snowbird: August 1 and August 8th 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Summer Concert Series at the Canyons: August 1 and August 15th starting at 6:00 p.m.

Brigham Young Historic Park Concert Series: Tuesday and Friday evenings from August 7th to August 28th starting at 7:30 p.m.

Ogden Amphitheater Free Concert: Wednesday, August 12th starting at 7:00 p.m.

St. George Concert in the Park at Vernon Park: August 10th starting at 7:30 p.m.

Summer Concert Series at the Homestead, Midway: Every Saturday evening in August, starting at 7:00 p.m.

Brigham City Free Concert at the Bill of Rights Plaza Brigham City: “FOG: Fat Old Guys Acapella” Monday, August 3rd starting at 7:00 p.m.
