This Timelapse Footage Of A Supercell Storm In Texas Is Positively Mesmerizing

Afternoon thunderstorms are certainly not a rare experience in Texas, but every once in awhile, a storm so vast and ominous passes through that makes us stop and marvel at the sheer power of nature. We can’t pull our eyes away from this timelapse footage of a stunning (and a bit scary) supercell captured by photographer Mike Olbinski near Booker, Texas.

This enormous cloud system didn’t develop into a tornado, but the rotating shape and structure definitely makes this storm look otherworldly.
