Visit This Iconic Horror Movie House Hiding In Texas If You Want Nightmares

Most of us have seen the iconic Texas Chainsaw Massacre numerous times, but few people know that the original house from the 1974 film still stands today. It’s located on the grounds of The Antlers Hotel in Kingsland, and is now in use as a restaurant. Although what you see here is after a full restoration, it’s almost exactly how the house looked in the movie considering it was left to deteriorate as soon as filming was over. I wonder if patrons of Junction House Restaurant know the gruesome (albeit fake) history of the site. Here are a few images of the house – see if you recognize it!

Do you recognize the house from the movie? Would you ever eat at the restaurant, or would it be tough to stomach any food there with grisly images running through your head?
