You Won’t Be Able To Stop Eating At This Epic Food Market In Texas

When we think about farmers markets, we usually get a mental image of a bunch of hippies shopping for kale and free-range eggs. In Texas, where everything is bigger and better, that couldn’t be farther from the truth. SFC Farmers Market in Austin is almost like a state fair, featuring hundreds of food vendors selling everything from gourmet chocolate to pastries to tamales – the only thing all these unique stands have in common is how delicious their food is. You’d better come hungry because I guarantee you won’t be able to stop after just one booth!

The market pictured above is the downtown location at Republic Square Park, or 422 Guadalupe St, Austin TX 78701. The addresses for the other three locations can be found on this website.

All of the markets are open year-round except for the Community Farm Stand in East Austin, which is open from Spring to Fall.

Have you ever been to SFC Farmers Market? What was your favorite food item there?
