Wahoo Ziplines is open seven days a week in Sevierville, Tennessee. It’s one of the top spots to plan a visit to if you’re a fan of outdoor adventuring or a quick zip through the trees. Known as the “wildest zipline in the Smokies,” you can enjoy a bout of exploration just a couple miles from home. Let’s go!
Wahoo Ziplines has been open since August of 2008 and has changed the landscape of ziplining in East Tennessee. With over two miles of cable, you can take one of their six signature lines that range from 900 to 1600 feet in length!
Length isn't all, of course. At Wahoo you may be anywhere from 40 to 250 feet in the air, give or take. That's one heck of a ride through the wilderness of East Tennessee, wouldn't you say? The park stretches over 80 acres just below the Great Smoky Mountains, making for an expansive place of fun.
Soar through the mountains in the winter...
...or through the deep green foliage of the summer.
All guides have undergone rigorous training, so you won't have to worry about your safety. You'll be buckled in tight and ready for the ride of your life with an extremely low risk. This is all about safe flying, not free falling. Ahhhh bad joke. Sorry.
You and your friends can reach up to forty miles an hour as you zip through the panoramic scenery of eastern Tennessee. Next time you hit that speed in your car, take a minute and think: you could be soaring through the forest right now. Tempting, isn't it?
You'll want to make reservations at least 24-hours ahead of time, if you're looking to fly high above the trees. General admission tickets run at $89, which is a small price to pay for a high quality adventure. Share the day with friends or make it an outing for work - it's way more fun with lots of folks on the line!
