There’s something sweet about a Polar Express Train ride. It reminds us of the magic of childhood, the sweet moments we held as littles and the promise of Christmas for our own children. Chattanooga keeps the magic of the season alive with the North Pole Limited train ride, the Polar Express of south Tennessee.
It's been 18 years since Chattanooga began sending sweet families out on the Polar Express. The ride is hosted by the Tennessee Valley Railroad. You can ride the train from November 18th – December 31st of this year. It's one of the most popular holiday events in the city, and has been running since 1999.
While on the train, kids will get to enjoy sing-alongs, hot cocoa and storytelling. The railroad also takes you by multiple Christmas light displays - so there's no darkness outside the train car. Just the beauty of Christmas.
