5) St. Thomas Hospital - Nashville
Known previously as a Baptist facility, the ever growing St. Thomas is a go-to for many Nashville locals - and for good reason.
4) Memorial Health Care - Chattanooga
336 beds and 429 highly trained medical professionals reside here in Chattanooga, giving you a safe and regionally ranked hospital for your general or surgical needs.
3) Methodist Hospitals of Memphis - Memphis
Regionally ranked, this Memphis hospital and trauma center has 1,324 beds ready to help you out during your next emergency. It is a part of a string of highly ranked facilities.
2) University of Tennessee Medical Center - Knoxville
This east Tennessee trauma center and teaching hospital boasts over two thousand doctors and national rankings. It also clocks in with a whopping 80,000 emergency room visits last year.
1) Vanderbilt Hospital - Nashville
With almost 1500 doctors to match close to 1000 beds, Vanderbilt has room and staff to spare as a nationally ranked hospital. Adult specialties include cancer and cardiology treatment, and the teaching hospital also staffs a children's hospital that is high performing as well.
