We have a little something for everyone, – you and the little ones, you and your spouse, or you and your best friend. Here’s to all you wonderful granola eatin’ folk – some outdoory things in Tennessee for your enjoyment.
7. What's better than spelunking in ol' Rocky Top?
There are tons of options for spelunking, mainly because Tennessee is a rocky wonderland. Seriously - don't miss out. There's somewhere right down the road, we promise.
6. Hang gliding isn't as hard as it looks.
Lookout Mountain Hang Gliding is a solid spot right outside Chattanooga that will train you for the ride - ahem, GLIDE - of your life.
5. Teach your little one to camp.
The Great Smoky Mountain National Park is perfect for this during the springtime, with mild weather and loads of lightning bugs.
4. Bike on the Natchez Trace.
Or drive. With the gorgeous springtime weather though, you'll want to push through those hills and enjoy a bit of a burn, don't you think?
3. Pick a trail and hike.
When we have hundreds of trails, some leading to waterfalls and all to absolute beauty, you can't stay home. You just can't.
2. Raft the rivers.
The Harpeth is a good one, whether you're rafting or canoeing. There are opportunities everywhere - watch out for snakes, though!
1. Go skydiving.
Tullahoma, Tennessee has a top of the line skydiving school, so you can find yourself thousands of feet above the ground, hurtling towards legend status - if you dare.
