Who is a taco fan? I guess the real question is who ISN’T a taco fan – because there has to be only a couple of you crazy folks out there. We have ten solid spots to grab a fantastic taco if you’re in Nashville, and you’ll be thanking us throughout the decadent spices of your meal. Here’s to Mexican fare and Music City!
1. Mas Tacos Por Favor
Once ONLY a taco truck, Mas Tacos Por Favor has grown to build a cult following for their $3 bits of heaven in a brick-and-mortar spot in East Nashville.
2. Local Taco
You can hit up three Local Taco locations, one in Sylvan Park, another in Brentwood, and the third in East Nashville. We recommend any of their seafood tacos! They know how to do it right.
3. Bar Taco
The 12South location is bustling on any given day, but the wait is most definitely worth it. The tacos are a bit tiny, but that just means you can eat more than two - if you get our drift.
4. Taqueria Del Sol
Quick service and a quirky menu give Taqueria Del Sol a clean, fresh take on the humble taco.
5. Rosepepper Cantina
One of the most popular East Nashville eateries, Rosepepper proffers a killer margarita with solid tacos to boot.
This fun, central California themed spot proffers a series of upscale tacos with a neat open bar scene.
7. Edley's Bar-B-Que
Um, Edley's? Yeah. EDLEY's. Their tacos are brilliant if you aren't in the mood for normal bbq fare, and the lunch brisket taco will probably have you dreaming of it for days.
8. Bajo Sexto
Casual and clean, Bajo Sexto offers a millennial vibe with bright colors and a neat offering of tacos. We've heard the carnitas tacos are killer!
9. Taco Mamacita
Yeah, it's a chain - but a good chain. Taco Mamacita is located in Edgehill Village and has a great menu for those of you who live close to Music Row or don't want to make the trip across town. Plus, fries with tacos just makes them better, right?
10. Little Donkey
The new Germantown establishment is perfect if you're looking for a great spot out on the patio, a place to enjoy a cool drink and a toasty taco. You deserve it, Nashville.
