We share this awesome opportunity with North Carolina, as the rails run from one side of the state line to the other. It's a nostalgic look at the way things used to be.

A facet of the Tennessee Valley Railroad, the Hiwassee Loop is a gorgeous ride through the stunning scenery of Tennessee.

4) Lookout Mountain Incline Railway
Not technically a train, but still pretty dang awesome. Running vertically as opposed to horizontally, this is one unforgettable ride to the clouds.

You can choose from the Hiwassee Loop, 21st Century Steam, or Missionary Ridge Local at this historic spot.
